The photographs in Gamers were made at Local Area Network (LAN) parties in suburban Minneapolis and St. Paul. Avid videogame players take over empty storefronts and set up temporary networks dedicated to head- to- head gaming. They bring their modified computers, sleeping bags, and enough caffeine to survive two days of nonstop video combat.
