Before he came to The United States, Ender worked as a reporter for major Croatian newspapers and magazines, and as a filmmaker for Croatian National Television. His documentaries won awards in Film Festivals in Rome, Athens and Bucharest.

He slowly made a transition to still photography. He is currently a photography student at The City College in New York and is working on his project on male prostitutes.
