Dixie Heart is an on-going series that explores the revisiting of a lost place, my native home, Georgia. This series is a consideration of a world I left behind over a decade ago. By going back to Georgia, a place that, at times, has seemed foreign to me, I am able to use my camera to connect to this world. These photographs deal with the humanness of things; the positive and the sometimes sad.
