An entry must contain between 8 and 12 images, entry form, a single, type-written page describing the project, a single page biography or resume, and SASE if you want your entry returned. Digital submissions are encouraged but slides/transparencies will also be accepted.

Digital Files
Digital files should be sent in JPEG or TIFF format. The files should be 72dpi with 1024px on the larger side. Please, no flash, Power Point or html presentations - send image files only.
Please name digital files with the first letter of your name, followed by your last name and the image number: mjohnson1.jpg

Slides
Slides must be submitted in clear, plastic slide-sheets. Do not send original slides or transparencies. Each slide must be labeled with your name and the title of the photograph. The lower left-hand corner should be marked with a red dot.

15th of May for the summer/June issue
15th of August for the fall/September issue
15th of November for the winter/December issue
15th of February for the spring/March issue

Four times a year, one artist will be selected and featured in our online magazine. The winning photographer will be awarded up to 12-image portfolio with separate links to his or her biography and artist statement. In addition, the photographer will be offered a chance to have his or her work sold to third parties with DaedalusPhoto News as a representative.

If your work is selected, we will contact you on or before the 25th of the month of the deadline. Unselected work will be mailed in the first week of the following month.
